At the same time, they require more courage, better calibration, and solid Comfort Building than a simple number exchange.

What is an Instant Date?

In pick-up jargon, Instant Date refers to the transition from a spontaneous approach to an immediate mini-date – typically 20 to 90 minutes – still on the same day. The close happens concretely: "Come on, let's grab a coffee – there's a good café over there."

In the Mystery Method, the Instant Date corresponds to an advanced close between Number Close and Kiss Close. It requires that Attraction and Comfort are already solid and both parties have time and willingness.

Before you suggest "just grabbing a coffee," honestly check whether the situation has the necessary foundation. An Instant Date without sufficient Indicators of Interest leads to polite rejection or the feeling of being rushed.

• She voluntarily mentions that she has time
• She responds positively to light physical proximity
